This cacao is made from the Arriba Nacional bean which is known as a Criollo strain. Criollo translates to ‘native’ in Spanish, it’s one of the native strains of cacao.
Typical aromas of our cacao are floral and herbal with hints of tropical fruits with a complex aromatic profile.
Lunaversa cacao is grown using traditional farming methods that have been passed down through generations of Peruvian farmers.
The cacao is sourced directly from small, sustainable farms in the lush jungles of Peru, where the beans are hand-harvested and sun-dried to preserve their natural purity and potency.
